Rohit Sharma is an Indian international Cricketer and is the captain of Indian Cricket team. He is considered one of the best batsman, opening batters and captain of hios generation. Rohit Sharma is well known for his six-hitting abilities, big scores and leadership skills. He is a right handed batsman.He has many records in his cricket career which famously includes double centuries in ODI cricket and most centuries in Cricket World Cup.If we talk about Indian Premier League he plays for Mumbai Indians. Rohit Sharma was a former captain of Mumbai Indians and the team won 5 titles under his leadership.

Sharma formerly led the Mumbai Indians, and the team won five titles under his leadership in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020, making him the most successful captain in IPL history, tying MS Dhoni (5 title victories in IPL). Sharma was a member of India’s teams that won the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, where he appeared in both tournament finals. Rohit is one of just four players to have been in every edition of the ICC T20 World Cup, from the first in 2007 to the most recent in 2022.

Sharma currently holds the world record for the highest individual score (264) in a One Day International (ODI) match and is the only player to have scored three double-centuries in ODIs. He also holds the record for the most hundreds (five) in a single Cricket World Cup, for which he won the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year award in 2019. Sharma has earned two national honours: the Arjuna Award in 2015 and the renowned Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna in 2020. Under his captaincy, India won the 2018 Asia Cup and the 2023 Asia Cup, their seventh and eighth titles in ODIs, respectively, as well as the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, their second overall and first in T20s.
